The One Reason Why You Don’t Get What You Want

Your behavior right now is the reason why you are not getting the things you want it your life. Whether you have goals with your finances, relationships, health, or any goal you just can’t seem to achieve, it is of your own doing. Some of your reasons may be valid, but they are the obstacles nonetheless.
It is human nature to always stay in our comfort zone, and it makes perfect sense. Back then, in the caveman days, men and women have to stay in their comfort zone if they want to live a long life. They have to avoid the predators that are much stronger than them or else, death would be the penalty.
Up until today, humans still have that innate instinct to always stay the same. The human mind doesn’t care about your happiness and fulfillment. All it cares about is keeping you alive! If all your needs are met, every time you want to step up, your mind would say, “Why? There is no benefit for doing such feat. Why put in more effort? Why risk ‘failure’? Why risk ‘dying?’’ But it is now 2016! No one is going to kill you! You’ve got to step up! You owe your gifts to the world. You owe it to yourself to reach your full potential!
It breaks my heart to see people feeling miserable with their lives, and not even know why they do. What’s even worse is that they start this cycle of blaming and victim mentality. They blame the government, the president, their parents, the company, their peers, circumstances, basically everyone but themselves.
You are in control of your life. Your present situation is the result of the choices you’ve made in your entire life. You can design your life the way you want it to be! But it’s going to take a lot of effort and energy. There are going to be lots of resistance, especially from yourself. This is your journey. Only you can save yourself.
What I want you to do is to expand yourself! Surround yourself with high-value people. Read books. Stop watching TV. Learn new relevant skillsets. Get a mentor. Cut out the unimportant things. Workout. Eat right. All these things would be uncomfortable to do initially, but I promise you it will be worth the effort. Your hard work will always be rewarded. Always!
I don’t want this to be one of those cool stuff to read. I want you to do something about it. Start with writing the things you want and action steps you are going to take to get closer to it.
You know what you want. Do one little thing to get closer to it. Then do it every day.
